After Carnes Funeral Home receives the referral for your loved one we will receive them into our care.  Once this has been done a member of the staff will make contact with the next of kin to get information for the death certificate.  If the family member has access to email a Facts of Death Verification can be emailed to the family.  This is sent to make sure that the correct information is transferred to the death certificate.  The family must return the facts of death verification withhin three days, so that the funeral home can complete the death certificate in a timely manner.  If this is not done the family will receive a call to verify verbally over the phone.

 

Question:Can i bring clothing to funeral home for my loves one?

Answer: Yes, Clothing can be brought to 1102 Indiana St, South Houston, Texas 77587

 

Question: May i come to the funeral anytime to see my loved one?

Answer: If your loved one remains under the care of Harris County youwill be able to view on your service date.
